San Francisco -- While the Orioles are already well-represented on the field as of this year's All-Star Game, there's a different team wearing black along with orange proudly in New york for the next week.

Through Major Little league American football's Reviving American football in Interior Cities program, the Orioles' 12-and-under American football team was chosen to participate in in this year's All-Star Jr. RBI Vintage, which is a non-competitive tournament held annually during the midseason festivities.

'This opportunity might have never happened if it had not been for the Orioles,' said Teresa Johnson, who coaches the 9-12 age bracket and was able to bring Eleven of her players whom fall into the proper age category. 'We don't come from a background where we have a lot of money to do these matters with the kids. To soar them to another state to take part in an opportunity like this, to construct friendships with other teams in other states, I can't thank the Orioles enough.

'We definitely ought to represent San Francisco, we definitely have to show love to our home staff. I'm glad they put the actual [Orioles] names on our apparel, we are representing them. We are definitely thankful to them, I'm sure the kids are. It's a aspiration come true.'
